Artistic Captures: Behind the Lens

This is a rarity in the field of portrait photography — having the opportunity to shoot newborn triplets.  It is both a major professional challenge as well as a huge honor to be asked by the parents.  And believe me, I was jumping up and down when the “H’ family booked me for this newborn session.   I was lucky enough to do maternity pictures for “E” a few months ago.   You’ll remember her images — looking gorgeous and completely relaxed in her last trimester of pregnancy.  Well let me tell you, not much has changed.  Just 4 weeks after giving birth to these little sweeties, she’s not only looking amazing but she still seems so relaxed and very much at ease handling all three babies.   The “H” family already included a very handsome 5 year old son, so they have now doubled the size of their family.  The triplets include two boys and one girl.   This little girl will be the princess of the family, I can tell already.  She was more than happy to “pose” for me.   I could not get enough of these little ones.  Please enjoy this peek into our session.   Thank you, “H” family for inviting me into your home once again, and for allowing me to photograph all of your beautiful children.

A few days ago I teased you with one image from my recent session with Baby “E”.   I was so excited about this session; newborns are so precious, and it’s always so nice being around a new mommy and daddy.   Baby E was just under 3 weeks on the day of our session.   What a handsome little guy!   He was a joy to photograph.   Oh and he has the most gorgeous nursery I’ve EVER seen.   Thank you, “Z” family for choosing me to do your newborn session.  Your full gallery of proofs will be ready in a few days, but for now, here are a few of my favs from our session.
